I’ve been pondering what mistakes could be the biggest ones travelers make in coming to America. At this this time, I feel the biggest one IS VISITING THE COUNTRY IN ITS CHAOTIC STATE. 

I know that visiting America has long been a dream for many to see democracy at work. To see the visions that our culturally rich country has built and have since spent years now belittling,  destroying,  and rolling back rights, freedoms, and the idea of America the Beautiful. Once we were a country founded by immigrants, built by them, and now the rise of racism, bigotry, and fascism has become a bone of contention for the majority of Americans.  I cant even imagine anyone wanting to come to this country. The biggest mistake visitors make is expecting what we were, The United States of America. A country that used to say it welcomes people from other countries as white supremacy raises its ugly head and fascism and ignorance has become a part of things.

I will never forgive or forget what the rich, the ignorant, and evil men and women who are in power are doing here. I can not call this place The United States anymore,  it is America… plain and simple. It is  wounded, suffering, and fighting to expel the vicious reality of what is happening.
