As I am an ole woman, a reader, writer, dreamer, lover of stories and tales…. my first book I can remember finishing was read by me and to me which was a fun and memorable adventure in itself.  It was “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.”  I lived some of his adventures in my life, as well as the next book I remember,  “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” I came up in a different world than this one we now live in, or so it seems. As a kid the library was a favorite destination, I was in the summer reading club, my love for books started early. The adventures written about in the late 1800s by Mark Twain of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn fed the dreams of many children in my day… I still remember these, maybe a reread I still have them.
