The Concerts that Still Echo in my Memories…

Daily writing prompt
What is the best concert you have been to?

I do not have a long list of star-studded concerts I have been to. Honestly, I was never one for the crowds and the chaos of them, my introvert side showing through. I did once go to a Concerts in the Country show in Calhoun that headlined Randy Travis. It was outside in the country, and it was wonderful. The setting, the music, and the people were all so friendly. Being outside was great for my soul, and the performance was wonderful. I also went to one in Atlanta with my mom and sister. We rode MARTA to the venue, and that was an experience in itself. The concert was by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Again, it was a wonderful experience, even in the city setting. But the “best” concerts I have ever been to were most probably the band concerts my son Jamey played in when he was a kid. There was a sense of pride and love that came with watching him play, and the atmosphere is something that has stayed with me even now. There were also church choir concerts that spoke to my soul—some I sang in and some I attended. They gave my heart and soul hope and joy and uplifted me in a way regular concerts never did. I do love music. It is deeply connected to my memories, but the concerts that stayed with me were more personal and homier than star-studded. To me, I think that is how it should be—at least for me. TO be honest, the concert I love deeply and the one most affordable and recurring to this day, is the Symphony of Nature that I can enjoy from my front porch at night… That one is dearest to my heart, and soul…
