My name in my family… I was the first born, a daughter… I was named Joni for John, my father and his father, and Lynn for my mother’s father, Leonard.  The meaning behind it: Lynn comes from Celtic or Welsh roots. Meaning tranquility, water, a connection to nature. Suits me well. I am a lover of water, nature, and have a fantasy of having an Irish connection. I know I was 4 % Irish on my Ancestry match 94% English do I suppose it is fitting.

As for it being my name, I was happy it connected me to my Pappy Reeves and my Dad and his Dad, both were John Sr. and John Jr.. I’d give anything to hear my mom or dad call me once more… Joni Lynn where are are you? That’s my name…
