As a child I was in plays in school, as most of us that grew up in the Boomer era. While I do not remember most of them, I also played an angel in the Christmas parents at my church. There was a time, when a lady in our hometown of Griffin Georgia started a theater group.for kids, The Patchwork Players” we did acting, built sets, and gave theater performances for our parents and others who came. I played a ghost, who opened a play that I can not remember the name of but I can recall my speech in part…. ” Family of Ghastly, swift by they dooom.. for Sir Jekyll is trapped in the secret room… ” the rest escapes me but I can remember that it was fun, creative fun we loved our time with Mrs. Murray there. This was before screens and social media, the photos of this long lost now… but yes, I was a star in my childhood… it was a golden time !
