What I seem to skip the most…

What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

My routine is a lot simpler than it used to be at this age. No kids to get out the door, my dog pack has become only three now, I work part-time so 4 days of the week are ME days. My routine has morphed into my own thing over the years as life’s evolution has progressed.

My days use to start with news, I try hardest to skip this part. The fake news, misinformation, and dastardly goings on now make this skip something that is necessary… I am pretty good at this. Its self preservation…

I resist the urge as much as I can to skip my walking and exercise time, these help me focus on life, ease my mind, and help me keep moving in life! But there are days lately that are so heavy from the chaos, I struggle…

I also try to skip the worrying time, I know no one is coming to save me, so I keep pulling myself up and going. Letting go of this is a chore… but it gets easier with time.

Skipping “routine” is something that comes with guilt at times. Learning what part of routine is not in your best interest can be freeing… lately I’ve been reminding myself its okay to let go of things thats purpose is not in your best interest… My added mantra, ” Let go, Let God” is helping…

What do you need to let go of, what is hampering your mental health, hurting your physical health, what is crushing your spirit? Skipping those things is selfcare..  “Let go, Let God” take care of your mind, body, and soul…
