Ramblings on Our Legal System, Government, and Reality

What would I like to be more informed about? I am at the point where I liked the world better when I knew less, when people were afraid to speak from some of the places they do now. If there is anything I wish I could know more about it would be the legal system and how we are allowing the things happening to our government now to happen. How are we destroying the Constitution, disappearing people, sending the military and national guard to our cities and what the world here will look like when Fascism is in full blown mode. What is Marshall law exactly and how will it affect me. How can we fight against the few that are turning our country into an asylum for the uber wealthy and making working people poor. How do the lies and untruths continue to be what most see as reality when it is so apparent what is happening and what they are doing. How are we paying homage to people who are instigating such vile and hateful views and ideals.

The Constitution is the main law of the country. It explains how our government works and what rights we have. Sometimes, leaders stretch those rules, especially during tough times. But we are not stretching rules but ignoring them, giving an open hall pass to one man to do as he pleases, WE DO NOT HAVE A KING. We are losing the soul of our country, or WE HAVE ALREADY. We are being groomed by those in power to accept less, have less, and to be forced to live as if we owe all we have to a King. Meanwhile the man in charge has erected a 12 ft Golden Statue of Him, reminiscent of the Golden Calf I suppose.

In some countries, people who speak out against the government simply disappear. In the U.S., this isn’t common, but it has suddenly become who we are. Where are they being taken, why are we just not deporting them back to where they came from? Why are we sending people willy nilly to third world countries? What are they doing with 2 planes full of unaccompanied children? Deporting American people? How can a man say this and be our President? 

Why are we seeing our National Guard Units sent to our cities. Using soldiers in our cities is rare and usually only happens during big emergencies. Laws like the Posse Comitatus Act say the military shouldn’t enforce regular laws. Governors can call the National Guard to help during disasters or unrest. When this happens, people debate if it’s really needed. It is against the Military code of ethics to fight against ourselves. The man who wishes to be King is trying to create instances to do this for ulterior reasons. How can so many be so ignorant and not see the truth and reality of the situation.

Will we see Martial Law instituted here? Martial law means the military takes over for the regular government during extreme situations, like war or riots. This can mean fewer rights, curfews, and the police or military making more decisions. It almost never happens in the U.S., but it’s a serious step if it does. Do any of these people who are cheering on this regime’s actions understand what Martial Law means ? That it would restrict movement and gathering, they can be arrested and not given due process or be disappeared. That the military would be on the streets, armed. That our legal system would work in their way the way of the leaders, not the people.

Why do We the People not see what fascism is and what it will cause? Fascism is a type of strict, unfair government that controls everything, uses fear and lies, and doesn’t allow people to disagree. If it takes hold, and we are headed there at warp speed, we could lose our freedom and fair treatment.

Why do the working class, the poor and the struggling here not see that rich people are taking over? The Oligarchy is taking over, no one seems to know what that means. How can people be ready to give their fate to a few people who have most of the money and power. This means regular people struggle. Solving this means working together for fair rules, good wages, and honest government. Instead, we are ushering in a regime that is getting richer by the day, while those at the bottom pay.

The Untruth and Lies are overwhelming… False information spreads fast online and in media. This can change how people see the world. Fighting lies means checking facts, thinking critically, and supporting good journalism. We are from all reports a country that has dumbed itself down to the point where we seem to welcome the lies and embrace them. Those who are critical thinkers are struggling, feeling the weight of ignorance and vile hate. Yet we are barreling into a nightmare I am not sure there is any rescue from. TO be honest, I did love the world better when I knew less, believed in the goodness of people, and religion was not being skewed to push politics… I liked life when I knew less and felt it too. But I refuse to give up hope…  In tough times, everyday people have always fought for fairness and truth.
