Life lately seems to be an alternative reality… The rise of old hate, old prejudices, news that has no basis in truth but yarns woven to enhance the despicable behaviors of people in power. People, men, women, and children, being snatched from the streets, homes, businesses, and fields by men in masks armed as if in a war. They are being swept away, taken to places unseen, unknown, and unforgiving… We are watching life change, democracy being gagged, good people lied on and about, and bad people dismissed as if they are the real jewels of the world. People are resisting in droves, peacefully but trying to be louder than the alternative lies and vile men who are trying to take progress and bury it in a dark place. Everything that has been fought for for centuries is being hushed, being erased. The rise of the power of the wealthy, the silencing of people deemed unsuitable, different,  and unfit by those who believe they speak for “We The People” is a reality of a sort I never imagined would or could ever be real…
