What book could you read over and over again?
While I admit to owning a library of collected favorite authors and stories, I have one that I have read over and over. “WIND FROM THE CAROLINAS” a 1964 historical fiction offering written by Robert Wilder. It was a book that belonged to my mother, she and I shared a love for reading and our tastes ran the same.
I keep it on my bedside table now in a stack of old books that fed my love for historical fiction and romance. This one follows a family that leaves from the early days of the American Revolution from the Carolinas to travel to the Bahamas and settle there. The detail of their t jouney snd life tells of a time not often thought about. It took strength, faith, and a desire to explore and set down roots in new places. It may be time to consider rereading it…
