Rambling on about the Positivity of Love in My Life…
Love is such a powerful feeling, and it’s amazing how its presence can transform ordinary moments into something deeply meaningful. When I reflect on where I feel the positivity of love in my life, a flood of places, people, and experiences comes to mind, each carrying its own unique warmth and energy.
There’s an undeniable sense of love that fills my home. It is the heart of my comfort zone. It’s in the way sunlight filters through the windows during a quiet morning, the scent of coffee brewing, and the laughter that echoes off the walls. The warmth of family, human and canine, whether it’s a gentle hug, shared jokes over dinner, or simply sitting together in snuggled up in the queen chair in silence, there is an environment, my place… where love feels effortless and ever-present.
I find the positivity of love in my friendships, too. There’s something special about knowing that someone understands you, supports you, and roots for your happiness. It’s the spontaneous texts just to check in, the late-night conversations that dig deep into our dreams and fears, and the way friends celebrate our wins and dreams, big or small. These moments remind me that love isn’t just romantic… it flourishes in platonic connections as well.
Sometimes I feel loved by the world itself as I meander through the world outside. It’s in a gentle breeze, the sound of rustling leaves, or the calming rhythm of ocean waves. There’s positivity in simply being present in nature, feeling connected to something larger than myself. Whether I’m sitting beneath a tree, watching a sunrise, a sunset, or listening to the birds sing, I sense a quiet reassurance that I belong and am cared for by the universe.
Love isn’t always grand gestures for me. I seem to feel love most positively in the smallest acts of kindness. A stranger holding the door open, a smile from someone passing by, or words of encouragement when I need them most. These little moments remind me that love is all around us, woven into the fabric of daily life. It is at the root of why I work the part-time job I do, peopling… at times it can be overwhelming, being among people, but the feeling I get from making others smile, laugh, and our conversations touch me deeply.
In all these places, home, friendships, nature, and kind gestures, I feel the positivity of love. It’s an energy that uplifts, comforts, and inspires. So, when I ramble on about where I feel loved, it’s really about gratitude for all the spaces and people who make my life brighter and more beautiful.
