Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?

When I was a kid, born in 58, grew up in the best age.. the 60s. Life was just a good time back then. My bike, a banana seat high Handel bar adventure seeker, was my escape and exploring machine. It took my on adventures, to the woods, to the grandparents houses, to town, to the creek… it was my adventure seeker. I can say it was in constant motion. While it had no battery, no motor, only pedal power, I rode it nearly every day. I would tie my.red wagon to the back and pull things where I needed to go. But mostly, I rode….

I left home at 18, I suppose that after years in the shed and carport. It finally vanished in the yard sale mom had when they sold my childhood home and moved. I never saw it again… but I can sit and remember,  a tomboy girl, with bare feet, pulling a wagon full of “supplies” to the creek to play… a jaunt to town to visit my dad at his office or visiting the grandparents.
