Describe your ideal week.

My ideal week would be spent in a state of bliss, something that seems elusive in this world lately…

My mornings quiet, yet filled with thoughts of the world and its amazing treasures. The redbirds visit with my coffee, the poetry of nature in its simplistic detail echoes with divine grace.

My afternoons filled with thoughtful and thoughtless tasks, some of need, others of desire and passion. Time spent doing what my heart needs and what feeds my soul….

Nights, to think about the day past, of the blessings found, of feelings and prayers for the world,  for those I love and those I miss…  time to both reflect and dream of what ifs and the journey ahead.

A week with a stillness that speaks to rest, rejuvenation, and hope and faith for what is possible. In a world where lately the roar of negativity seems overwhelming,  a week of bliss in which to gather my strength to find peace and fulfillment for my heart, my soul… a week of life that hears only the good news. A reprieve from the overwhelmingly sad reality the world is playing at this stage….

I hear in my head as I write this, “Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily life us but a dream…. ” such is this idea of a week of bliss, it is but a dream… yet I step on, moving as if it can be… I’ve heard dreams can come true !
