The most expensive meal I ever purchased was one that was not about the price, it was an experience with my parents… a gift for their anniversary which falls on December 23, I gifted them The New Year’s Champagne Brunch at The Jekyll Island Club. The experience takes place in the Grand dining room, a luxurious antiques-filled place, that resonates with the whispers of a glorious history of pampering. The tables are loaded with treats reminiscent of the South, seafood because of the Georgia Coast and luscious fruits and pastries. The background is filled with the sound of a pianist playing, the pop of Champagne corks, and the style chatter of conversations of those gathered to step back in time to an elegant dining experience.  The views of palm trees and the beautiful grounds are framed in its windows as people there graze from the tempting and delicious buffet.
