I’m worried about the world. While change and evolution are a necessary part of life, I did not expect the process to go backward and become more of a tragedy than an awakening of knowledge, betterment,  understanding, and well-being.

I’m worried and watching as History’s darkest days rear their ugliness and frightening ways…

I worry empathy has been cast aside nonchalantly and strength of mind is seen as weakness…

I worry that the brave and hard-fought battles of our past to bring equality, care, and unite us as One Nation are teetering on the edge of a dark abyss…

I worry that too many are content to sit and say nothing when our world seems to be racing into darkness…

I worry the future will be filled with atrocities of Mankind, inhumanity will be common, hatred will have the loudest voice…

I worry I have lived too long, that people have lost interest and ability to know the truth…

I worry that the future will turn into the past we fought so hard to change for the better, that suffering, pain, and hatred will rule the future…

I worry for those young and old and for those that are yet to be… I worry we are turning into something too many can’t and refuse to see…..
