Good morning y’all,  it’s is Monday, and right now it is tolerably nice on the porch here. Its peaceful, cooler than it will be all day and Jake and I are just easing into the day. Welcome to day 174 of 365, this journey has been feeling heavier than usual, but on we go…

The hummingbirds are buzzing through, and the chatter of birds can be heard all about me in the trees. Sun is streaking through and the world outside is waking up. I guess this 6:30 wake-up call God has been giving me lately has a purpose 🙏 to remind me of His gifts as I hear this in my mind, “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me…” if God tends even the tiniest of his creatures, you too are watched and known.

Weary is a feeling that to me is felt deeply, in my soul. It’s not just tired,it’ss a deeper level of tired one that is not rested away but rather prayed and overcome. “Come to me” He says, “I will give you rest.” I prayed myself to sleep last night, unburdened my mind and soul to Him. The weight of the chaos of this world is heavy. We all feel it in some way. The fight between right and wrong, good and evil, truth and lies. It is a fight that has gone on forever…

Fear is what feeds the weariness most often, that and doubt. Fear is the work of Satan, it is how he entices us to falter, to give in, to give up. Fear can make the lies feel like truth, fear makes us fall into an abyss of darkness, a place where we can’t see God’s light and hear his truth. We have to learn to recognize it, fear, and its taunting lies. Rebuke it. Reject the fear and declare God’s truth and His promises over your life !
God will give you rest when weariness comes. It is in His truth, His love that you will find the light, that the weariness will fade. GOD ALWAYS WINS AGAINST FEAR…BUT YOU HAVE TO DENY IT AND CHOOSE  GOD…
Today I hope you find your rest and peace in Him, speak to Him, He hears you… just remember His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
